CONSORTIUM C1 MAXI®

The intermediate pole Consortium C1 Maxi is constructed without removal of material, eliminating weakening points and achieving greater strength and bearing capacity. It is therefore suitable for higher heights or longer distances between poles.
The special profile with stiffening ribs considerably increases the resistance to torsion, bending and shear than traditional piles, while retaining a large elasticity. All this increases the stability of espaliers even in highly productive vineyards.
The open shape of the profile avoids water stagnation in contact with the ground that normally causes corrosion problems, increasing its durability.

Description

It is constructed with 2 types of thread-holder slots, thus suitable for mechanical lifting of wires:

  • Buttonholes type A
Open at the top with lug not protruding from the profile, recommended when using spring spacers or movable wires. Double positive effect: no damage can be caused to the beaters of the harvesters, and no damage is caused with prepoters to the buttonholes.
They allow an initial manual raising of the wires, avoiding damage to young vegetation, and also give the possibility of mechanical intervention for subsequent wire raising.
The weight that insists on the wire (due to shoots, leaves, grapes, wind) is no longer supported by the protruding lug, but distributed all along the pole; thus it is the pole that carries the weight, not the lug.

  • N-type buttonholes
"N" type with anti-hook characteristics particularly suitable for vineyards in hilly areas with counter slopes.
